SOME PERSONAL THOUGHTS ABOUT THE CURRENT STATE OF EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH IN INDIA

Education can be looked upon under a variety of perspectives. With its immense impact on the social and cultural order, as well as many widespread areas, it’s easy to see why people tend to view education differently.

In every specific field of study, there are several publication ethics and standards that would be required to be maintained in order for the published papers and articles to have recognition of the researchers’ efforts and skills.

The effective rise of journal publications that don’t follow these regulations has reached an all-time high. When you also look at the number of national distinctions of recognition by the way of open access libraries on the internet, only a handful of such publications have received recognition over time.

A Change across International Research Landscape

Too many of Indian researchers have the premier reaction of stating that the international forums of research tend to ignore them on the basis of their nationality.

If only that were the case, research often contributes to the primary advancements and innovation in any particular area of interest. However, Indian researchers hardly get the international attention they deserve. It’s entirely plausible that pre-formed expectations have certainly helped in perpetuating this viewpoint. However, it’s also exceptionally essential to recognize the fact that the world is becoming increasingly globalized, especially with the advent of the internet and its holistic reach.

TooYou won’t find a better time for actually taking the initiative of satisfying the standards, and become an exceptional part of the international community.

Even if there are problems with certain ethics and observances, things wouldn’t correct themselves if Indian researchers continue to make themselves insular against global demands.

The Presence of Indian Authors across International Journals

Despite what major viewpoints say, the data of Indian researchers getting publishing of their research across international settings have certainly gone up.

Upon this specific case, the academic community would benefit from a body of policy and infrastructural frameworks, which would actually recognize the quality of published research content over time.
